If you're searching the Internet for some free online games, Nuclear Bike is one that you're likely to come across, especially if you're a bike enthusiast! Nuclear Bike is a very simple game where you drive a motorbike with the purpose of getting to the checkered flag at the end.
Every time you get to the checkered flag at the end of the level, you advance to another level in the game. The goal then obviously is to complete as many levels as you can to get to the end of the game.

The controls are very easy to use and the entire game can be played using the arrow controls on your keyboard. The up and down arrows will make the driver speed up or slow down while the left and right arrows will turn the driver's body a certain way, which comes in especially handy when you want to try doing tricks such as back flips. Using the controls does take some getting used to, especially with the game terrain, which although is mostly straight, has many hills and bumps.
Crashing seems to be easier than advancing along the path when you first start the game but after playing for only a few minutes it's easy to get the hang of it and maneuver through the terrain to get to that valuable checkered flag! Along the path there are also many bonus tokens that you can collect (some by doing special tricks) to quickly rack up points! Add to all of this that in the top corner there's also a timer slowly counting away how long it takes you to complete the level and you have even more ways to challenge yourself and try to beat your personal best!

Nuclear Bike will run on just about any PC as it has very few requirements and will run on just about any Windows operating system including: 98, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista. It also only requires 128MB of RAM which will allow the game to run, even when you have many other applications open. The downside of having such minimal requirements for the game is that the graphics and sound are not exactly superior among today's online games. The graphics are very basic with much of the details left out.
As you move along the terrain, the background scenery consists of a forest and mountains however they look as though they were simply drawn in. The graphics depicting the driver and the bike aren't much better with the biker's legs barely being discernible from the bike but for a free game with such few requirements, one can't be too picky about things such as graphics.

Nuclear Bike is a fun and very simple game to play, even if the game components are as simple as the object of the game. While it may be a bit tricky for beginners, as you advance and become better at the game, you can start to incorporate new tricks to make it an even bigger challenge!
